Weather: Partly cloudy to cloudy throughout the day, 72 degrees F. Consistent WNW wind with gusts up to 12.
Raptor Observations: Unexpectedly slow day other than a nice look at a lazily soaring harrier.
Non-raptor Observations: Decent flight of goldfinches, waxwings, and passerines, including North America's largest - I had at least 23 ravens today, including a single group of 16! Swallows as well - barn, tree, purple martin. 1 hummingbird.
I received a secondhand report of a rattlesnake seen by some hikers at the south lookout on my way out. I am skeptical, but it isn't impossible, I guess.
