Sorry!!! I was going to send out a message earlier, but the heat turned my phone off, and it didn’t “ rejoin the living” completely until I got home.
I saw the tern at around 10:14, right after I got to the entrance at Rio Vista and Ames and looked out over the basin. It went from north to south and looked like it was turning around to come back, but it circled and continued going south. I looked for it with others, assuming erroneously that it would be going up and down the basin. But I did not see it again.
