Since my principal reason for using eBird is to provide useful data to "real" ornithologists, I'm loath to submit incomplete checklists. I'd rather submit complete checklists, with notes regarding birds that crossed or were seen across boundary lines; and to use my own spreadsheets for my state lists, and for the states in which I do serious county listing.
