There is a solution to this issue that requires only a little bit of hand work if you were using tracking and you were entering observations in real time using an eBird mobile app.
First, make a copy of your submitted list.
Next, in that list open the route tracking.
Then slide the bar on the bottom of the screen to the left until your track stops at the county line.
Accept these changes and eBird should update your list to only include the Hamilton County birds.
Now compare that list with the original, take out the birds on your Hamilton only list and you have a Merrick County list.

Nebraska birders,
Today I birded Dark Island Trail with a friend. We began in Hamilton County and walked north across the Platte River into Merrick County. I started my ebird list in Hamilton County. I didn't stop the list until we were well into Merrick County. Now I see that I should have stopped the list at the county line because ebird put my entire list in Hamilton County. Have you also experienced this issue?
