Subject: [MASSBIRD] Swallow-tailed Kite Cotuit
The Swallow-tailed Kite continues near Lovell's Pond and the Christ the
King Church thrift store parking lot in Cotuit on Cape Cod.

Brief look from the parking lot, better views after driving to the
pond.  Only saw 1 bird at a time, but there have been at least 3 present
all summer.

Also at Lovell''s Pond:

Black ducks
Osprey
Double-crested cormorant
Un-ID'ed Buteo
Swimming snapping turtle

In backyard news- the Baltimore orioles have returned to the jelly
feeder after disappearing in June.
Fed up with my tardiness in refilling its feeder, the hummingbird was
also at the jelly feeder.
