Unfortunately, I got here at low tide (2:00). I birded from 2:00-4:15.The weather cooperated except towards the end of my outing. That's when it started drizzling.
Great Egret 11 Snowy Egret 6 Great Blue Heron 3 Turkey Vulture 1 Osprey 2 Red-tailed Hawk 1 Northern Harrier 2 Killdeer 2 Piping Plover 1 Black-bellied Plover 10 Semipalmated Plover 100 Semipalmated Sandpiper 40 Least Sandpiper 6 Ruddy Turnstone 1 Sanderling 5 Greater Yellowlegs 6 Lesser Yellowlegs 2 Short-billed Dowitcher 26 on river mudflats until the incoming ride swallowed them all up Spotted Sandpiper 2 Roseate Tern 7 Least Tern 20 Common Tern 10 Horned Lark 6 Tree Swallows 2,000 wild guess; over Fourth Cliff; looked like insects; same situation as last time I was here Warbling Vireo 1 Baltimore Oriole 2
