Hi all,
Today, I came across a gull sitting on the island that has formed off of the boat ramp at Barr Lake SP, Adams County. The gull appeared solidly charcoal gray and similar in size to a Ring-billed Gull. It kept its head tucked while I was there, and I never got a side profile, so I am hesitant to put a definitive name to it. I added a poor photo to my eBird Checklist <https://ebird.org/checklist/S385522322>. Ring-billed and California gulls are also in the photo providing lighting and color perspectives. Good luck to anyone looking for it this weekend.
good birding,
