Subject: [sd-birds] Red headed woodpeckers
I decided to check the nest box where the the red-headed woodpeckers nested
and it was empty. So I guess both of the young fledged.

I was continuing to catch a juvenile red-headed woodpecker in my moth traps
so I left them open during the day and I only closed them at night and I
haven't been catching one. But I did catch a red-headed woodpecker at least
five times and decided enough was enough.

My elderberry is a ripe and the Eastern kingbird family is enjoying them.

This is all in sanborn county.
