Dear JerseyBirders
I am writing to let you know about an opportunity to participate in a research investigating the value birders and photographers place on the availability of bird habitat and their willingness to pay for that availability. This study will involve completing a survey. By participating in this survey, you may help researchers learn about possible means of preserving land for bird and wildlife conservation.
The survey will take about 10 minutes of your time. If you are a birder, birdwatcher, or wildlife photographer you may be eligible to participate. You must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
If you have any questions, please contact Dan Poalillo at <poalillod1...> or the PI Dr. Meghann Smith at <smithmeg...>
Thank you for considering participation in this study. This study has been approved by the Montclair State University Institutional Review Board, Study no. FY26-27-5316.
Sincerely,
Dan Poalillo, Masters Student
Earth and Environmental Science, Montclair State University
