The two pelicans flew away, other birders at the park said they'd been around for a couple of days.

Meanwhile, a Black Phoebe appeared, sallying forth from atop one of the green/white metal fence posts in the pond.

(Lake Park is in West U. district of Reno, Keystone Ave and Coleman Dr.)

There are currently two White Pelicans resting and preening on one of the floating "islands" at Lake Park pond (corner Keystone Ave and Coleman Dr, Reno.)
